Old, new and current customers will be delighted to know the Marina's Tropical Leisure Pool has had a new lighting system installed giving a great atmosphere into the eveing and especially during the Adult's only session on every week night. The dated changing facilties have finally been refurbished. New modern non-slip marine altro flooring, vandal proof cubicles and new modern stainless steel toilets have been fitted. Many new cubicles have baby changing benches (previously 2, now 8 available) and the old shower areas have been given a new lease of life, there is the added bonus of designated larger changing areas for families and disabled users.
The refurbishment has been long awaited and the Marina Centre Management are hoping visitors who may have been put off in the past will return and make use of the wonderful facilities.

Marina Centre Manager, Martin Marsh, said:
"We are hoping this much needed investment will bring in more visitors throughout the year and many more residents returning during the winter months. We have been improving facilties annually and as long as we receive the same support from the people of the town and the tourists that we have been getting, then more could be on the way. We have a great team on site who are constantly working hard to deliver a positive customer experience, many have had a recent update in customer service and have taken on fresh duties to further increase the standards we provide the customers. We realise that many things have got better at the Marina Centre for both customers and the staff and everybody has pulled together to do this. In addition the whole team are making a concerted effort to push this to the next level and increase the standards of service and 'WOW' the customer by reducing the little mistakes and increasing the attention to detail which the Centre has been lacking for many years."
